We didn't set out to start a company. We set out to keep a memory.

I wanted to preserve my daughter's handprint on a basketball, something I could put on my desk and look at every day. I searched for something on the market and came up empty. So I called my best friend, and the two of us started on what turned into the longest side project of our lives.

Over a year of late nights, more failed prototypes than either of us care to count, and a graveyard of balls, sealants, and display bases later, we finally had the version we were proud to put on our own desks. Mine is sitting there right now.

So who are we? Two best friends who met at Texas A&M over 15 years ago, now dads with three kids between us, who got tired of waiting for someone else to build the product we wanted. So we built it ourselves.

We built this for those who also want to capture a memory on a sport their family is genuinely passionate about. We're not a big company. We're two dads who built something we believe in, and we stand behind every kit we ship. -DT
