Every kit comes with a display sports ball with one side meant for your ink print, a child-safe ink pad, a display base, a sealant bottle, an alcohol prep wipe, and a step-by-step instruction guide.

How long does the whole process take?
About 15 minutes from start to finish, not counting dry time. The ink needs at least 2 hours to dry before you apply the sealant, so plan for an afternoon project rather than something you wrap up in one sitting.
What size are the balls?
Our display balls are 5 inches in diameter, designed specifically for display rather than play. The size makes the handprint contrast especially striking, and the ball fits comfortably on the included display base.
How is this different from a DIY approach?
We spent over a year testing every combination of inks, sealants, and ball surfaces before landing on what's in the kit. The main DIY problems are ink bleeding on textured surfaces, paint smearing before it sets, and oils in the leather repelling water-based products. The kit solves all of those. The process is designed to work the first time.
Is this a good baby shower gift?
It's one of the most popular occasions we see. The kit is ready and waiting when the baby arrives, and the parents get to capture that first print together. It ships in gift-ready packaging.
Is this a good Father's Day/Mother's Day gift?
It's exactly what we built it for. A sports dad or mom gets their kid's handprint on the ball they love, displayed on their desk where they see it every day. Not in a drawer.
How long will the print last?
The brush-on sealant is designed to protect the print from handling and fading over time. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and it should last as long as you want to keep it.

What ages is this for?
The kit is designed with little hands in mind, but there's no rule here. Whether you're capturing a newborn's first print, a toddler's pudgy fingers, or a moment with a grandparent, the result is something worth keeping forever.
Can I do more than one print with one kit?
The kit is built for one beautifully preserved print on the ball, but the ink pad has enough left for a few practice prints on paper beforehand.
We recommend a quick rehearsal on a piece of scrap paper before the main event.
What if my little one squirms or the print smudges?
It happens. We designed the process to be forgiving. Use the alcohol prep wipe to gently remove the ink before it sets, dry the ball, and try again.
In extreme cases you can clean the ink with rubbing alcohol and a rag.
Does the print need to dry before I apply the sealant?
Yes. We recommend letting the ink dry for at least 2 hrs before applying the sealant.

Do you ship internationally?
We only ship Internationally to Canada at the moment.
Safety
Will the ink stain clothes, furniture, or skin?
The ink is designed to wash off skin easily with soap and warm water.
For clothing and furniture, we always recommend laying down a towel or working over a wipeable surface, since fresh ink can transfer if it touches fabric before it dries.
Is the sealant safe to use around children?
Adult supervision is required for sealing of keepsake. Sealer should only be applied to your keepsake.
Returns and Exchanges
What if my kit arrives damaged?
We're sorry, and we'll make it right. Send a photo of the damaged kit and packaging to contact@littletouchprints.com within 7 days of delivery, and we'll send a replacement at no cost.
What's your return policy?
Unopened kits in original condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, minus the cost of return shipping. Once a kit is opened or used, we're unable to accept it back, since the materials are single-use.
Can I exchange a basketball kit for a football kit?
Yes. As long as the kit is unopened and within 30 days of delivery, we're happy to swap it out. Just send us a note and we'll guide you through the exchange.
